Olaniyan Olumuyiwa Diran is an accomplished financial professional with over 15 years of progressive experience in Nigeria’s financial services sector, with deep expertise in pension benefits administration, customer service, and operational leadership. His career reflects a strong commitment to accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement in the management of pension payments and stakeholder experience.
 
Olumuyiwa began his journey in 2007 at Ecobank Nigeria as a marketer, where he developed a strong foundation in client engagement and financial solutions. In 2008, he transitioned into the pension industry with Trustfund Pensions, where he served for nearly eight years as a Benefits Officer. There, he was instrumental in driving operational efficiency, ensuring accurate benefits processing, and fostering a culture of service excellence.
His career trajectory also includes key leadership roles outside the pension sector. Between 2016 and 2020, he served as General Admin Manager at Taidob College and later as Supervisor at Triumph Partners Multiservice Ltd, where he led pension fund reunitisation projects for PFAs.
 
In 2020, he rejoined the pension industry as Head, Benefits at APT Pensions (now Tangerine-APT Pensions), before assuming his current role at Citizens Pensions. As Head of the Benefits Administration Department, he is responsible for streamlining payment processes, improving turnaround time, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
 
A certified member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Olumuyiwa is a Chartered Accountant who leads with precision, purpose and a deep commitment to securing dignified retirements for all clients.
