Ganiu Bankole is a visionary investment leader and experienced seasoned analyst in fund management, spanning portfolio strategy, macroeconomic research, fixed income, and risk analysis. As Head of Investment at Citizens Pensions, he steers the strategic allocation and growth of the company’s multi-asset portfolios, safeguarding the financial futures of contributors.
 
A graduate of Economics from Obafemi Awolowo University and holder of an MBA in Finance and Investment from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Ganiu blends academic rigour with practical insight, bringing intellect, integrity, and instinct to every investment decision.
He began his career as a Finance Officer at Megalek Nigeria Ltd before joining Trustfund Pensions, where he rose through the ranks from Investment Research Analyst to Portfolio Manager and later led the Market and Credit Risk Unit. At Pensions Alliance Limited (PAL), he headed the Investment Risk Unit, appraising complex investment vehicles including infrastructure funds and private equity, always with a long-term, value-driven mindset.
 
At Citizens Pensions, Ganiu brings not just expertise, but purpose. His investment philosophy is rooted in stewardship, managing pension assets with discipline, responsibility, and vision. He is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers and an advanced candidate in the CFA Programme.
