Oluwadamilola Ayinde

Head, Corporate Communications

Oluwadamilola is a seasoned brand communications strategist whose voice and vision has influenced some of the most significant moments in Nigeria’s pension industry. Currently the Head of Corporate Communications at Citizens Pensions, he brings a results-driven approach to communications and brand strategy, honed through years of leading transformative campaigns.

Most notably, he played a central role in the merger of ARM Pensions and Access Pensions, helping to birth Access ARM Pensions through effective integration and change communications. Before the merger, he earned the Third Prize at ARM Pensions’ 2022 Innovation Challenge and received the 2023 Creative Solutions Award for excellence at the Employee Recognition Awards.

Oluwadamilola’s journey began long before pensions. At MTN Nigeria, he honed the art of customer relationship management. At Television Continental (TVC), he deepened his craft in digital communications, shaping brand narratives in a fast-paced media environment. His transition into healthcare communications at PathCare Laboratories (now Synlab) marked a pivotal moment where strategy met social impact. There, he led purpose-driven campaigns like the Doctors-on-Air Medical Mission, merging community outreach with brand visibility and proving that powerful communication can drive both connection and change.

At Etu Odi Communications, he crafted impactful digital campaigns for iconic FMCG and hospitality brands. Later, at Fidelity Pensions, he cemented his leadership, steering communications through industry shifts, including pioneering business continuity planning during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Oluwadamilola’s story has always been about bridging gaps, between brands and their people, and between ambition and action. With over 15 years of experience, a Postgraduate Diploma in Mass Communication from the University of Lagos and NIPR certification, he now leads at Citizens Pensions with one purpose: to help Nigerians build wealth and navigate tomorrow, one pension story at a time.
